Hi all,

Hoping to find manuals (workshop/body/chassis) in English for a 1994 Toyota Prado right side drive (KZJ78 with the 1KZ-TE 3.0L turbo-diesel engine).

Have seen other posts referencing websites for Toyota, Haynes, Max Ellery, and Gregory that take you to vehicles other than KJZ78s. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction for KJZ78s.

Thanks much!
Mark

KZJ78 was only sold in Japan AFAIK, so whatever manual for it is in Japanese. KZJ77 which is nearly identical was sold in Europe and is covered by RM183E. There are two .pdf versions of this out there. You can download the 1KZTE manual as well. There is also a wiring schematic for the KZJ78 available but its in Japanese. Between these manuals you have everything you could possibly need.

Here they are:

1KZTE:

KZJ78 Wiring:

RM183E:

Another version of RM183E that is more complete (includes sections missing in the other version), but is a little mixed up:

Any chance you could send a new link to me? I could really use RM183e, and I can't find it anywhere...

Forgive me for asking an question that may sound stupid. I have two different paper (hard copy versions) of RM183E. The older one I have is all the info in one book and the other one which is brand new is split into two books. Do you know why this is? I have never used the new version yet. I always assumed that Toyota just split it at some point when they were still printing them.

For some reason it's a bit mixed up in a couple spots; but this is the most complete pdf version.

I think you're right that Toyota just changed their printing style maybe to make it a little more robust/manageable. Beyond that I have no idea.

I think so. The older one is just simply RM183E while the newer one is RM183E-1 and RM183E-2.
