I'm planning on replacing my dashboard on the PZJ70 with a KZJ "curvy" type dashboard. Is it a straight bolt on including the electrics or will mods be required?

Will the dashboard swap improve noise from dashboard vibration?

Any other pros and cons I should consider before the swap?

I have the same problem with my dash before. I remove the dash and put dynamat sound deadening. Helps alot and no more vibration. The KZJ70 dash will fit no problem. I know a friend who replace his dashboard from a KZJ70 to a BJ70.

?

Dashboard vibration is loose screws and/or things rubbing.Changing the dash wont make any difference if these things are still there

I just did this in my PZJ70. A couple ways of doing it, you can just get hold of the curvy top section and place it on your steel dash frame, but that does have a few missing bolt holes and air vents you would have to drill or cut yourself.

Or you could do it how I did it and just replace the whole dash and frame, not too major just lots of bolts and screws. Make sure you also get hold of the air vent piping that aligns with the new square shape air vents, these small sections slot directly onto your original main air supply piping.

I am happy with mine, looks much nicer in my opinion. As for sound and rattles it is nothing that has made any difference to me, just make sure to tighten all the bolts!

Good luck
