I'm no expert...the job on the 60 is not that bad....after reading all the stories I thought it was going to be a nightmare... friend and i got it done one afternoon, using air tools etc. Check out parts from Cruiser-Outfitters... I generally buy from Kurt when possible, he carries good parts and knows what you need.` We just followed along in the FSM. Nasty part is cleaning the birfs and re-greasing them. In my case we had new birfields to install. Have plenty of rags on hand and we ussed a cheap plastic storage box to catch crap underneath the hubs...and then tossed all of that in the dumpster.

Get the fish scale, the large metric hub socket, the variuos outher metric sockets and stuff, along with a FSM and appropriate grease and parts....and your ready to go. Having a friend to help will make it much eaiser.

I assure you all after putting 1000 km on this kit and his labor I will never do a knuckle job myself!!!
BTW I am in the market for another 80 if anybody sees one local. NO GREEN.....

I've got a 92 that has just 192,000 on it maybe we could make a deal. :grinpimp:

That 94 I saw on 31 is still there. The guy told me he wanted 4900 ( which is high for that rig), but you might be able to work some dealer to dealer trade.

4900 is high for even a nice 94 at this point... they are selling for cheap... or should i say not selling for cheap...
I get tickled at folks that hold onto to something because they don't get thier asking price. uh, herro... if you're not getting it now, what makes you think it'll be higher later? It'll be lower...

jes just sold his 94 for $2900 WITH LOCKERS... my built 94 was for sale for $3500 and no one even low-balled him...
I'm actually thinking of picking another 91-92 up and just keeping it stock.

I wont be doing any busines with those guys....... Dont know anything about the cars they sell, but one of my vendors, (female), had a very bad experience there one time and her company refuses to do business with them now. Thanks for info however.
