I was just wondering if a kit exists for replacing the myriad of rubber hoses (not coolant or anything) that are now beginning to dry-rot after 20 years? There are many diameters and lengths under there. :)

@NLXTACY has a company called Wit's End that has a ton of OEM parts for just about every series of LC. Awesome resource. Just sort by your vehicle series and scroll through the many pages to find what your looking for.

Good suggestion and Site, I was just wondering if there were pre-assembled (and pre-cut) "correct" hose types for the little connecting vacuum lines, air lines, fluid lines, etc- in a single "kit".

If you can find a half-way competent Toyota parts professional, it's easy to pick the part numbers and build your own kit, so to speak.

Or you can go through the parts catalog on your own, pick out all of the hoses in the engine bay, and order them all.

99.5% of the hoses in the engine bay are direct-fit, no need to cut or anything like that. There are a few vacuum hoses (depending on year) and some fuel/fuel vapor hoses that are "cut-to-fit"-- but they are easily accessible and can be cut in 3.2 seconds.

Not for OEM material, I've seen some other aftermarket options floating around on the forums. Like weird red color hoses and stuff.

Best way for searching for me is on google, not through the search tool.

" coolant hose kit 100 series ih8mud"

That led me to this
>>Radiator/coolant hoses kits? - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/radiator-coolant-hoses-kits.1216023/

Which uncovered this
>>100 Series 2UZ Heater Hose Kit - https://absolute-wits-end.com/100-series-2uz-heater-hose-kit/

and this
>>100 Series 2UZ Radiator Hose Set - https://absolute-wits-end.com/100-series-2uz-radiator-hose-set/

Only another dozen or so hoses to go... Or just call Toyota with your VIN and let there parts guy do all the work finding the parts and you just hand over your credit card

For the vacuum lines , most can just be cut back a half inch or so to remove the dry rot

IMHO, vacuum lines or vent lines like for the PCV, I'd go with just stock hose bought from an auto parts store and cut to the correct length. Anything else carrying coolant or fuel I'd get OEM.

So, I’m not sure where else to place this. But has anyone placed orders with Wits' End, Solutions for Problems You Didn't Know You Had - https://absolute-wits-end.com/ ?
I can’t seem to get a hold of NLXTACY - https://forum.ih8mud.com/members/29719/. I was promised a shopped date a week after the order was placed.. Now I can’t get any info on my order I placed back on Aug 30th.. sent emails, text, PM on this site and called the number on the website… I’m kind of at my wits end.

It's a one man operation. He was responsive to emails in July and August for me.

Good to know. It would be good customer service to get a response
