Welcome.

Is most of everyone in here a member on TAC? I wouldn't mind tagging along on some meets.

Yes in this Clubhouse forum of Ih8mud most posters are members of TAC. Nominal fee for officially joining the club will get you on the roster, forms available at TornadoAlleyCruisers.org. Official roster nets you a 25% discount on all OEM parts at Molle and Adams Toyota.

Events will kind of be last minute gatherings depending on family schedules and weather over the next couple of months.

We will have our annual club meeting in mid-Feb. Probably will be a new thread started soon here on that.

and discount at Olathe Toyota. Talk to Dan there.

Yep, TAC member here, too. Welcome!!

As soon as i get time i will register. This 40 has been in my family for 20 years. Just sitting outside. The way it was described to me growing up. With the rust and such. I never had interest in it. Until one day over the summer i saw it for the first time. Keep in mind im 31 and knew about this vehicle forever. It wasnt nearly as bad as described to me. They were going to junk it. I put a hault to it. Uncle gave it to me. I couldnt be happier. Im more excited working on this one than i am wanting to continue on adding to my other fj cruiser.

That is awesome. Keep the pictures coming.

I second this, got a radiator from there two weeks ago. The discount is much better than you will get from Beno, low to no shipping, and they have donuts, coffee, as well as all kinds of kick ass toyota merchandise. I went for the radiator, and left with hats, new keys, etc. Oh and they have a samurai sword in the showroom, so that gets extra cool points.

I implore you to not do business with me at all if your primary motivation is how much something "costs."

CDan needs more for his retirement coffers.

Pretty sure our local dealerships can handle looking up and ordering parts for us.

Enough. Beno has been and continues to be a contributor to our cause. TAC has relationships with several KC dealerships that many areas of the country don't enjoy. I haven't done business with Beno, but have with Molle. Bob M. and crew at Molle didn't develop their knowledge of Land Cruisers (especially 40's) overnight. Erik C. has been working with them for nearly 2 decades. That said, they can't find everything we need, so just keep Beno in mind as very knowledgeable alternative source for your parts.
