Anyone have any ideas on what the issue is? New battery in the key and it's the master key at that. I've seen that you can program the key but it's already the master so that shouldn't make any difference. Thanks

Lock/unlock fob buttons is a different programming than the master transponder for starting the truck.
You're new here. Is this a new truck to you? Did they work before replacing the battery? There are a few threads about the notorious weak remote signals. On my truck, I have to be within about 5' for it to work. You shouldn't have to reprogram the remote because of a dead battery.

It never worked. I've read about the computers that Control that system can go bad but I'll have to do some digging on what controls it. Also if there is a certain way to program just the remote I'm all ears!
