Kenda Klever LT275 70 18 will these fit on stock 2013 with some trimming? 33.43 diameter

I plan on doing Dobinson or Ironman lift but will be spring or summer before this is done and tires are needing replacing now.

I want to go as big as I can so they look OK when lift is done. I may have to go with LT 275 65 18 which show 32.32 diameter.

I have 265/70-17 Pirelli AT and no lift. Tires show 31.7 overall diameter. I do get some very lite rubbing on a very hard turn or a bump at the right angle. It looks like it is just the trim for the mud flap. I could probably heat it and push it back a little.

Personally, I'd go ahead with the tires and just keep in mind to:
1) Don't do anything harder than fire trails before your suspension is installed.
2) Always keep in the back of your mind when going in/out of steep driveways, lock-to-lock steering or off-roading to take it slow to see if you're rubbing and adjust your attack angle accordingly.
If you keep that in mind, you should be fine, I'd pull the trigger and get them!

Would I be OK with this size? Kenda Klever LT275 70 18

I'm running BFG LT285/75R17 which come out to about 33.8"
Albeit, I have all the suspension mods, but as I said in my previous post, I'm pretty sure you'll be okay if you take it easy until you get your suspension.
If there should be any interference, you tire shop will let you know before they mount the wheels on your rig.

Thanks I may try the LT275 70 18

You guys are brave, that size will rub 100%
How bad will it rub? Can I drive it till Spring when I do a lift? Will LT265 70 18 work with a little rubbing?

I only have experience with FJ I have Nitto Ridge Grapplers LT 295 70 17 w/ no BMC 2 inch lift and yes they rub but I get by w/ it.

r2m do you have BMC?

For reference, I have a 2.5in lift, 1.25" wheel spacers with LT265/70r18 on oem wheels. This is basically a 33in diameter tire on a close to 0 offset wheel. It very slightly rubs on body mount when turning into a driveway at moderate speed

Yes. I had to with the size tires and type of wheel'n I do. I don't do "rock-crawling" (I can in an emergency, but I don't like buckling any body panels) but my wife and I are out on trails at least every other month or more and at times getting the suspension pretty crossed up.

I 100% guarantee that you'd rub quite significantly with that tire size.

What is the biggest tire I can go on stock 18 inch wheel. I can handle a little rubbing until I lift it and I don't mind doing a little trimming and heat gun work.

I ran a 255/70/18 (32.1x10x18) on the stock wheel before my lift and I had slight rubbing. I can't imagine going much bigger than that without heavy rubbing. I am sure there's someone on here who has run 285/70/17's without a lift but I guarantee you that they rubbed because I did with a 2.5" lift and aftermarket wheels, a BMC was definitely needed.

Thanks: it is so hard to know what size to go with. I run Nitto LT295 70 17 on FJ with OME lift and no BMC I do rub but not bad.

Yea that's a 33.3x11.6x17 so they are taller and wider than the 285/70/17. Wheel backspacing and offset can make or break you on these larger tires.
