I picked up these same tires in April after quite a bit of searching. I managed to get 5 mounted and balanced for $1300. So far I love them. I've been off road a little bit and they handled great for me (which is not aggressive). I also just got back from long road trip and they are great on the highway.

No idea the impact to mpg...gave that up many years ago.

It came down to looks, versatility between highway and off-road, and price...these are the winner in my books.

Nice 80. I assume those are 315's?

TSR's are great all-round tire. They hold up very good in the winter here in Canada Unlike the procomp's which would totally freeze up at anything under -30C. They still wonder a lil in deeper puddles at speed but all tires do that. Compared to the Pro comp xt mt's i had 285-75-16's its like night and day. Quieter and they wear extremely slow im also getting around 70k better mileage. And the also have a good warranty.

Any updates on the TSRs?

So far wear has been great. About 3000 miles on them and they still look new. I only have about 100 miles offroad on them with nothing wild and they performed great. Road ride is pretty quiet and smooth. Overall I would buy them again.

I know this is on my 7500 lb Dodge diesel that sees mostly street miles but I have over 10k miles on them and you can't even notice wear yet. I love these tires except for the weight... I even notice how heavy they are on my tuned up Cummins.

That being said, I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I have about 3,000 miles on a set of 285/75 with stock suspension. Heavy tire rides a little stiff but I really like them. Paid less than $800 for a set of four mounted, balanced, the works. Got them at a local tire shop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have had them on a lot of gravel with no sign of damage, a lot of pavement with no wear, and they do pretty well in the mud. They even survived a recent 8 hour drive to Boundary Waters where a buddy of mine drove us in to a ditch filled with boulders and nothing went wrong. He was going about 40 mph and it was not on purpose. Now everyone that survived the scare wants an 80 series. This isn't a great tire picture but shows them on my '95 pulling a stump around in a valley on my property. They drive me right up a steep grade that I use to slip on with the stock tires. I would buy them again, good price.

What is the color of the paint on your wheels? My aluminum finish is looking a little rough on mine and I would like to get them powder coated.

actually it was mounted balanced for $693.00 at BILLY RAYS tire shop hiawassee dam north carolina he's an old man back in the sticks where i live that has a tire shop and best part he only charges $10.00 a tire to mount & balance so the tires cost me for 4 653.00 no b.s. really!

will add that i waited hand wrenchingly patient for a month and a half to get em poor old guy had a heartattack and i had to wait till he could get backon his feet he was worried that they would'nt fit in the wheel well lol

If I have a 2 1/2" Iron Man lift, and am planning to use 4th generation 4Runner wheels that are 17", on my 1997 LX450, what size do you think I should get? Or, is there a good reason to stay stock wheels 16"?
