What the title says. I don't get it. Is it like a nature thing or a "tread lightly" thing? Maybe it's just a cutesy play on words? I dunno. Odd.

My understanding is it’s a cutesy play on words ( in your words). Sequoia…big tree…big suv. If that’s not it then I am just as confused as you.

People refer to Sequoias as “trees”, because, well, sequoias ARE trees. It’s like them calling Mustangs “pony cars” back in the late 60s and 70s. Just a nickname for those that feel the need.

Now I feel dumb. Didn't even make the connection. So much for the grad school education LOL...yeah I have never understood the need to nickname things. Different desires I guess.
