I may be a bit late to the party as my last car still had a good old fashion turn key.

But I got super annoyed that I couldn't park and then just shut off the engine and continue listening to some podcaster ranting about some nonsense like I used to in my old car and I learned this tip from YouTube.
After you park you car, put the gear selector into neutral and then push the start button. Engine will shut off but will still be in ACC mode. Then shift car into park.

You can actually do that in any gear except park. Just pull up, shut off then put in park.
I believe it will still eventually time out and shut off to save the battery though.
