Does any one have pictures of there rig with the stock tire sizes with a lift. I want to keep my tires but I would like to do something more than a 1' spacer or the OME .25 and .75 low lift.

BTW I have the Mich's Cross Terrain, I'd get bigger tires but there brand new

empty wheel wells are Ugly. Larger diameter tires give better ride anyway.

Not sure if you can see enough detail in the attached picture to find it useful. This is OME 851 front, 862 + 15mm rear, and 275/70 LTX MS. I drove it like this for years and thought it looked and worked fine. I recently changed to 285/75 LTX MS.

Nothing is going to ride or drive better on road than 275/70 Michelins. If you have any doubt in your mind about whether bigger, gnarlier offroad tires are needed for the driving that you do, then you probably would be better off to stay with Michelins. Just my opinion.

After 6 mos with the ome heavies 850/863 combo and the stock michelins, I've decided it doesn't look naked, and don't care about stinkbug. Driveability improved over stock, even when unloaded. Once house is finished, will probably bump to 285's.

Hit the search button for "stinkbug" and it will give you a lot of information. Have fun reading.

OK, I am clueless.

WTF is "stinkbug"??

With some spring lifts the rear of the truck ends up being higher than the front giving it a stinkbug look. Many people use coil spacers on the front coils or use taller/firmer front coils to even out the stance.

I like the Mich's i just dont think there aggressive enough. but i've looked around at different lifts and such but i think the only way to do what i want to do is get bigger tires. Maybe I can some how work out something for these 305's and get a lift that i want.

What lift do you think i need to fit 305's... if i dont go rock crawling

No lift for 305's. I've got 305 MT/R's opn right now and have attempted to flex the crap out of it without any rubs, so far. I hear you can get minor rubbing in hardcore stuff but I think you will be OK.
