NO instructions at all. Will open up the PS rear panel to install the wiring harness tomorrow. Highly likely that the wiring harness molex connectors will be easy enough to figure out.

For you Toyota wiring gurus, there are five wires for the trailer plug. white (ground?), brown (tail lights?), yellow (left turn?), green (right turn?), and red (brakes?). I'm looking at a standard 7-pin wiring diagram and there's no mention of red on it.

Has anyone done this with the Hoppy or other brand trialer lighting harness already plugged in? Is it necessary to remove it and then use the wiring for the trailer harness included in the wiring harness supplied by Kaymar?

Biggest question - Which color wire goes to which bulb in the supplied hella light? I've got a white (assume that's the ground), red, yellow and brown. Which wire goes to which bulb? Hella light has the brake light, turn signal light (those are the two bulbs on each side of the light and one smaller light in the middle which I assume is the flasher(?)

Got the OEM bumper off this afternoon after golf (of course - no pun intended).

No real issues there. Had the hitch to take off as well before the bumpers.

One other install question - mudflaps on before or after bumper install? Kaymar directions suck big time. The make reference to a Standard and RV model vs others only? Hell if I know what we have here in the US.

I rigged the middle light as the parking light, then the large red to the brake light and large orange for the turning signal. I think you can do it any way you like (with the orange lens obviously being the turning signal). Ideally, they ought to use a two-filament bulb/socket. I suppose one could remove the partition between one side and the center. I didn't use a trailer harness..spliced off the rear tail lights behind the interior panel, ran the wire outside through a grommet (I don't have a trailer harness, so that wasn't an option for me). The dinky (10w?) center bulb burned out fast (within months).

Well - got it all figured out. Since the connectors for the hoppy trailer adapter were in the side panel, I first figured that's where the connectors for the Kaymar wiring harness would be. Wrong! They were under the truck. Once I got that figured out the rest, including the color coding on the wires fell right into place.

Only problem I had with the wiring was that the brown running light wires (all three) in the Kaymar harness came out of the connector. A little work under the truck (very comfortable - not!) and I had removed the blade from the connector, recrimpted the wires, reinserted the blade back into the connector and everything was good to go.

Have a few pics I'll post up another time. Only got the bumper installed today. Was watching more of the Masters than working on the bumper install. Very nice fit to the bumper! Instructions suck tho.

Tire carrier next weekend as well as the trailer wiring harness. Going to pay a quick visit to my local trailer gurus on that one first to see what they may have or suggest.
