So got finished with the radflo stage 1.5 lift on thursday. Measurements were taken from ground to fender (marked fender and passing through center of rim and parked on the exact same spot in drive for measurement accuracy) on stock tires 265-65-17.

Before
34 1/4" front
33" rear
After
36 1/8"front (radflo set with additional 1/2" remaining on adjustment)
38" rear

Holy crap does it ride soooo much better then on the damn bump stops...

So have tried to search for last few weeks and it seems that tire size has been discussed many times but seems there isn't really this size will fit if you do this. On the 80's it was a if you are lifted this much you can fit this.

I want the LARGEST tire I can possibly fit looking at bfg ko2's. I will cut and pound plastic, will remove running boards. I don't mind a little rubbing while full turn and articulated.

Questions,
Can I keep the factory rims?
Will they need a spacer if I do?
Do I need to replace the uca first?
If a spacer is required then what is an acurate backspace to have for everything to be happy (meaning if i pulled the trigger on new rims)?

Leaving for 4-6 weeks in the next couple days have today and tomorrow to pull the trigger on new tires/rims etc. Yes, yes, I know without pics it hasn't happened. Haha. Will get them up before I leave. Thanks in advance for all your time and help.

Welcome! Sounds like you are on your way to a great rig!

I have an OME lift on mine, and I just bought wheels and tires yesterday. I went with 285/75 r 17 KO2's on Ultra 195 17x9 wheels with -12 offset. I found last night that I was rubbing on the plastic fender liner in the front, and on the body mount in the rear of the front wheel well. It appears to me, that if I had purchased a wheel with less offset (stock wheels are +25), i.e. 0 or +, I would clear the body mount, but then might rub on other things.

Hopefully you will get some other responses, but that is my $0.02 based on what I found last night.

Been to 2 shops this morning and noone can find 285-75-17 in the ko2 at's.

Do 34x10.50R17. They fit great

Will they honestly fit with a little banging and massaging? 4wheel parts right now is doing free shipping on them till the end of the month, if you go into the store its free mount and balance. Havnt had a chance to price the 34's but the 285-70-17 are $950 to my doorstep. I would rather have the 34's though. Will call them tomorrow.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I ran 285s and they rubbed much more than the 34s due to the width. You will still get some with your lift, but I would bet not much

I'm running the 285/75/17's km2's with the icon 3" rears now I think, and only have rubbing under full lock on the uca's. Running the 1.5 radflo suspension but decided the rear was to low while geared out. I think she sits great now. No spacers or anything. Just waiting to put a front bumper on, then might do uca's at a later date.
