Hello!

My name is Joseph, and in my free time, I design products for the 1stgen platform. Since 2019, I've envied that other vehicles have so much aftermarket support, and so, I decided to make my own parts. I've also offered these parts to other members on FB groups, but figured a post here would be good to have as I sold a few now.

Compatibility / Quick Notes
- Everything is designed around the 2005 Sequoia that I own.
- Parts are compatible with 2001-2007 Sequoia & with 2000-2006 Tundra, as long as it's the same part that we're working with.
- These parts are BRACKETS/MOUNTS only. Additional accessories NOT included (i.e. switch system itself, or RAM BALLS, or hardware to mount accessories).

All of these parts are MADE IN USA in SoCal. I do not run a fab shop of any sort, so I work with local small businesses to help me put everything together.

Thank you for checking the works out! You can view full exhaustive small detailed information on my website.

Shoot. I’m sorry I missed the order window. You going to sell again when you are in Salt lake?

Excellent products. I wish some of these were around a couple years ago. I ended up having to redneck fab my own compressor mount, and I direct mounted my switch controller to the fuse box. Your solutions are so much better.

I'm definitely interested in the dash mount. That is something I've been needing for a very long time. Does it go through the plastic and mount to the radio brackets, or is it mounted directly to the plastic on the dash? Stable enough for a heavy load?

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I'll have some extra pieces of everything except the molle panels and only a few ladders.

Cool! I was interested in the dash panel and the rear accessory bracket. Let me know how to order since the google site is closed.

Thank you! It's been a work in progress learning how to design all these things.

Regarding the dash mount - it's been super stable. I have my iPad pro 11" attached to mine. It's bolted through the dash and I use nylock and conical washers to lock it on place. It also contacts the dash subframe to prevent the nut from releasing.

I've had mine on since v1, and now I use the V2 and it's been 👌. No complaints AFAIK from anyone who has either version and I've sold a good number of them. It also uses an industrial grade 3d printed nylon 12 spacer that is formed to the dash for good fitment and surface area mounting.

The weight really depends on how much leverage you plan to have on it as in away from the mount itself.

And last note, but the price went up $10 to $150 shipped to door. The price of MJF printing went up 30% since January this year 😔.

DM me on ig @kamdesignstudios - easier to reach me. If not, pm here is fine as well and I'll get your order taken care of.

Understood on the price, that's the story with everything. I'm ready to order if you have any available. I don't have Instagram, so I'll PM you here with my contact info and go from there.

Yeah it really do be like that. I kept the same prices for as long as I could until it went up again 😔.

Just PM me some info and I'll reply asap.

I ordered a dash mount from Kam Design Studios. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. The curved dash on the 1st gen Tundra/Sequoia makes it very difficult to find somewhere to mount phone, nav, etc. So glad this solution came along.

Shipping was fast and communication excellent. The instructions were clear and well-written. Install wasn't too bad. The worst part was trying to make sure the drilling jig was lined up correctly. Besides that the other difficult part was getting the washers and nuts on the front two bolts. Very difficult to access. I found that putting some grease/anti-seize on the washer and nut helped to keep them from falling all over the place and getting lost inside the dash. Total install time was a little over an hour.

It's very sturdy and works great with RAM Mounts. I need to get a 1.5" ball and tablet mount, then put a tablet up there for nav/Torque Pro. The included radio mount was a nice touch.

Glad it's working out for you. Those two front nuts are very hard to access and the weird sitting while install isn't pleasant one bit. But once it's in, it's nice and firm.

The drill jig lines up with the edge of the dash hud, but I wish I had designed it to also line up with the lip where the radio hvac plate and dash mate.

Enjoy!

Want to make a rear hatch ladder like this for LC200? Pretty much only Gobi makes a rear hatch ladder for the 200-series. I bet there is a market there for a well-designed second option…
