anyone using these headlights and if so what are your thoughts on them?

Yes. They are awesome. Completely sealed and will outlast me. Sharp cut off line, extremely bright.
The brights suck, so I got some Rigid Duallys to supplement them when HIGH beams are on.
BUT, they won't look good on the majority of 40's. Mine has a lot of black trim, so I got the black housing units.
Your other choice is chrome housings, and, well......... ughhhhh
Oh, one more thing, they are $$$$$$$
