I have been searching for a 2004-2007 Land Cruiser for about 4 months. Yesterday, a nice 2004 LX470 popped up for cheap (I thought it was cheap) $13900. The only problem is that it has 200,000 miles. However, it was pretty much perfect. Some rock chips and leather cracks, but that is getting picky. All options. One owner with all maintenance performed at Lexus. No issues other than general maintenance and timing belt done at 180,000. New Tires. New brakes. California car. No rust or drips anywhere to be found.

I offered $13,400 and he took it.

I really wanted to find one with 100k for around $20k, but I'm thinking this will do either for a temporary rig, or I can keep it forever if it is as reliable as everyone says.

I was almost at the point of knocking on windows since there are a lot around here. I have a feeling this won't be my last Land Cruiser. Might continue looking for one that is "perfect".

Congrats, you'll love it.

Nice find, huge congrats! Sounds like a fair deal to me. Worst case scenario happens (engine or trans prob) and you're still ahead of the game money-wise.

Great deal. I've been searching pretty heavily, and it definitely takes time and patience to find the right one.

I got mine a few months ago. 1999 lx, 140k, great shape, for $11,500. Sounds like you got a good deal to me. I saw a 2004 I was eyeing for $14,500 but had lights galore going off on the dash, and needed tons of work. Good deal for $13k.

I looked at a '05 with 12x,xxx miles for $18k. Looked nice in the pictures. When I went and looked at it, the interior looked like the previous owner let 5 raccoons run free in there for a few hours.

Congrats and welcome to the Madness!! enjoy

Luck you. Not much around here. And all I find are over 300K miles or want 30K for one.

My search continues.
