I finally pulled the trigger and ordered and a lift today:D I have been putting it off for a while in hopes to find a used setup so I found a set of rear heavies that were almost new a week ago here on Mud and I just ordered the front springs and shocks today from IronPig and caster correction from Slee. Im pumped about getting this thing lifted and getting back into Cruisers again:bounce::bounce2:

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that my brother in law made a set of sliders for me a while back and I havent had a chance to put up any pictures of them yet but I will, they turned out sweet!!!........so let the build begin!!!!!

please go to User CP and verify your membership status and then post up and introduce yourself :D

oh ok ok . Good to see you 'round again. The press is waiting for you.

the sliders are pretty slick too with the Stainless expanded mesh; at least you wont bend em.
And a stainless steel e-locker guard. What other bling you got lined up?

and how them nitrocharger sports treatin ya?

Haha real good so far! Thanks again J for all the help. Yeah we got the lift on this friday night, besides a couple of stubborn bolts all went pretty well. Still got to install the caster correction and throw on some bigger tires (31's with a lift look ridiculous) and that will be it for a while until I can run across a fromt bumper.

I guess you dont need my springs anymore??

Tim

Oh yeah I will still take them...pm sent.

Let me know if you've got a plan for the front bumper, I'd like to do the same (maybe a Slee shortbus or something) and maybe a group buy is in order, Noob... :D

LOL! I will let you know which route I decide to go, really leaning towards another ARB so it would be cool to get a group buy togther like you mentioned.

I thought you said you purchased a lift

Those must be the before pictures.... where are the afters :flipoff2:

Noob

Yeah Tim and I worked out a deal back in Oct. for his springs but we got our lines crossed on a pick up time, so i went ahead and ordered a new set and I am picking up his old set for my brother in law (rockdragster) for his 80.

You know it is really hard to notice the lift with these 31's, its amazing what a difference tires make.

Oh and I just noticed that my join date is 2 months before yours :flipoff2::grinpimp:

And this makes all the difference. :flipoff2:

ok you technologically challenged madisonian...............

just think, you'd need 4'' of lift to fit those tires on a jeep :)
oh and nice sliders too!

but you should chop off your rockers (and that rust) and move em up 4 inches.
after all, it is your wheeling rig. Plus you got a back up or 5. ;)

but all in all a good improvement over the last mod

Man that last pic brings up bad memories

Stephen/Jason,

How are you planning to press out/in the caster correction bushings? Curious because I need to do the same at some point.
