I just picked this up to take the daily driving duties off the plate of my '86 mini-truck. Also have a thread on that as well. Like many of you, I am considering making some changes to this truck but for the most part, I may just leave it be for a while. It's extremely clean, auto (only downside) and has 75k miles on the odo. It runs on 4 runner rims and sports 33" tires. Has 4:56 gearing as well, per seller. I am not sure if the gearing is what Toyota equipped it with from the factory but I'll take it. I will upload some better pics but for now this is it.

Nice clean looking tacoma!
Does it have a lift kit in it? It makes the 33's small.
33" didn't fit on mine.

I am also curious about the 33s. I picked up a 98 extended cab last weekend that needs tires so if whatever size those are fits with no lift and no rubbing, I'd certainly be interested in hearing about the tire and rim combo.

These are 33" [true 32.8"] Yokohama geolander a/t. The truck has a 2" Alcan lift in the back and 2" old man emu lift in the front. It' riding on bilsteins 5100. Great ride. No rubbing either.

It's amazing how much variation there is. Mine is bone stripped - manual trans, bench seat, no cruise clock power locks windows etc. I had kind of assumed that all regular cabs where that way since they are so rare. Turns out mine is the oddball.

Nice score. Keep the rust away and it will last you forever.
