Just added an 03 Lexus 470 to my garage

I tow all kinds of Land Cruisers with my wife's 4Runner with zero issues. However that's first hand experience and not something I read on the web, so I could be wrong.

Well I went with a Tundra. Because everyone I talk to says it tows like a dream. I rarely heard that from 100 series or 4 runner owners. Bigger brakes, bigger engine, bigger axles, bigger hitch everything is just bigger on the Tundra. But I never towed with it so this is just based on it's rep and what I see. So I could be wrong. Could tow like crap. I don't know.

I'm sure your Tundra has a higher tow rating but my wife's 4Runner has a rating of 7600 lbs and an 80 with trailer is within that. It tows it just fine.

I believe the rating is 6500. I've towed with mine (to TN and back) a good bit with no issues. Never read anything about it, just did it. There are better tow rigs out there, but the 100 does ok.
