I was going to skip it this time, if somebody else wants to plan it I'll bring something to share.

Ok, I guess its sardines and crackers for me.:frown:;)

Can't wait! I was almost going to rebuild my clutch cause it doesn't engage til about 3 inches from top, but it has been working like that and I didn't want to screw up something right before a trip. Bled it and it is a bit better. My tune-up is done and it is running primo instead of 55 horsepower now I get 59:grinpimp:. Should be better on the inclines. Amost packed! See ya'll at the mtg tonight.

Spent this evening getting all my gear down and mock packed it.
Also checked fluids and tightened stuff up!!
Sure enough... The front DS u bolts needed tightening and the ps rear ones too. Couple of the steer arm bolt needed some love, but not too bad.

So friggin stoked!!! Hope it's a GREAT trip and we ALL stay mechanically in tact!!

Just a reminder, bring a couple of bundles of fire wood.
Smiths has firewood on sale $3 ea if you buy 5.

Went through my gear last night, everything is staged and ready to load.

I need to install my new Bobby Long Hub gears tonight as well as check fluids and tighten stuff up.

Not looking forward to checking 50 nuts on the bead locks.

I sure miss the days when I'd load my truck and leave it parked outside overnight.:frown:

Just to much $hit going down in the neighbor hood to do that anymore.

Roger the fire wood!!!
There are no restrictions????
I wad thinking we wouldn't be doing the camp fire this year??

Saaaaahweeeet!!! :)

Great on the fire since I am cooking a hobo meal with bison:eek:. Will bring some wood and I have a fire permit from last weeks camping. Looks like I might be getting away sooner than I thought. See you at the WSprings.:bounce::bounce2::clap:

Per marks recommendation, I picked up that lil cyclone compressor @ pep boys. Ended up talking w/ the service manager over there. SUPER cool guy, his name is Brian.
Turns out he's got a built 4 runner and a wheeler. I referred him here to mud and the club.

Well have to keep an eye out for him on here.

Mine was called the tsnami, but cyclones blow more wind so maybe it is better. Probably the same thing.

Welcome Brian. Come wheel with us-the more the merrier:steer:.

AMAZING WEEKEND!
can't wait to do it again!!!

Hope you all had fun the weather was nice. I was in one of the groups with the Hi Landers ( the club that had the loop comming out Wentworh. So how did you like the facilities at Wentworth, I think they need to service it a little more frequently. I was hopeing to see a few of you but we were in a later group. I think my father-inlaw and son may have ran into you though, they where in a red defender 90. One of these days I will make a meeting, school keeps getting in the way.

Ya, Camo I saw your father in law in his defender. Hard top right? I think he was in the second group we pulled over for, although not sure cause the groups were geting spread out into one long line with them getting in and over to wentworth springs, couple of tough obsticals were slowing some folks down. Hope to see you at a meeting.:)

Agreed! Cadilac was very interesting alone:eek::steer:

I kept thinking about that while we were going up...
That part of the trail was probably the hardest I've ever seen it and that was even w/ a spotter.
Those waterfalls were GNARLY this year.

Soooo, are we going to get a story/pics???

Jack

I plan on doing a trip report w/ pics, but for some reason I cant get my pics to DL to my computer after this last virus we had on it!!!:bang:
Ive not had any time to eff w/ it yet, to be honest.

What...no imagination?

I've tried, but the unicorns and clowns keep interupting the story...:grinpimp:

That sucks. I think we should try harder to find the hackers that create viruses and drag them into the town square and let the people who have gotten a computer virus take out their frustrations. I just can not understand why they create them when most of the time, they gain absolutely nothing out of it other than the thrill (I guess) I got one on my last computer and basically I had to wipe my computer clean and start over. I was not a happy camper.
