Ramon and Brian sorry to hear about your situations. Hope everything works out well.

Ramon and Brian, I echo Al's words. Unfortunately, growing old is something we can't avoid.

Brian, Please give me a call this evening if you don't think you will be able to make it. Is there any paperwork that we need for the campsites?

I just realized that I don't know how to get here. Is there an address for the camp site.

If Francis Frank is running the campsite, then yes. I'll see if I can get a hold of the campground and let them know there might be a chance that I won't be there. I'll let you guys know tonight what I'm going to do.

Clint, if you don't hear from me, then I'm going, and nothing to worry about.

I forwarded a copy of my reservation to Jared and Jerry so you all should be able to use the site this weekend. However, I posted i had reserved B66... it is actually B64. Hope y'all have fun and hate we can't join, but pour a lil' out for the homies who ain't there :)

Bummed out I had to miss the rest of the trip. I was really looking forward to a good time. Work beckoned though and I'm about ready to start whooping some ass. We still have an entire Watermelon and a gallon of baked beans we should have found a way to leave.

Thanks again and my wife enjoyed meeting all of you and is really excited for Uwharrie already and can't wait to get my 62 out on the trail and wheeling. Hope the new Francis Frank and all of his Socialst Party SS workers don't ruin the rest of your fun tonight.

The family that was complaining about us were such dicks to the ranger he sided with us in the end.
You did miss a great hike up table top mountain though.

We had a good time overall, although I could have done without the mid day tent shuffle as it threw the schedule of planned events off. It was great to see everyone and meet a few new faces. Here is a picture from table top.

Thanks for letting us tag along this weekend and the great food, was nice to meet ya'll. Luckly the friendly park po-po was nice enough to welcome us and direct me to the campsites when we arrived along with a brief overview of the campground rules, lol. Of course Bailey is begging us to get her a chocolate lab now... Look forward to seeing you guys again.

Clint, Brian and I made it to brown mountain today and the trails weren't actually that bad. Not challenging by rocky mountain loop standards but worth a run while we were in the area. (brian does now need sliders as the boards got almost ripped off) And we found a mud hole that clint didn't get stuck in.
Then we all ate all the food and drank all the left over beer before heading home.

Brian and Ramon, I hope things are stable with your families.

The photos from the mountain top look fantastic. I'm still bummed I couldn't make it this weekend................

Thanks Joe.

So, did y'all see the Brown Mtn Lights??? More pics!!

Nope... the only lights we saw was the man (ranger) making us move camp :grinpimp:

Ramon and Brian - your family was and is in our thoughts.

Had a great time and the weather was perfect!! Especially for tent camping.
