OMG what a freaking great weekend.
My quick report posted on another forum:
So I left Thursday am and headed north. About 4hrs from home. Had to stop in Portland and pick up my good friend Travis (he lives down here as well but left few days earlier
for a minor heart surgery). He was released in good health about a hour before I got up there.
Off to Brown's camp! Set up camp. Two other trucks from southern oregon arrived later. Matt in his white '93 80, and Tom and his wife in their 4runner.
Wheeled pretty hard on Friday. Snapped what was left of hanging my exhaust together, bent my 4x4labs bumper, bent CreeperSleeper full skid plate (1/4" steel) slightly, flexed
in the front wing of my MT front bumper into my quarter panel, and used the crap out of the MT sliders. Sofaking thankfully for all the armor.
The "decorations" were from last years CTW where Jerod (2ndGenToyotaFan) won 2nd place in the poker run. He is out the country and couldn't make it. He ask me to take his
trophy up and destroy and just bring one piece back.
We tried, but not hard enough. Lost some pieces.
Nick was at camp by time we got back. As he said Brian (Orange 80) Sheered of his steering sector shaft. So we were down a truck and decided to load up in my 80 and make it
happen.
I couldn't be surrounded by a better group of people and friends.
Messing with people on the trails with the unicorn mask left us in stitches.
Sunday before we left decided to go out to Crusher's (you get the idea of the trail from the name). My buddy Matt in the '93 80 did what I did last year and completely
boomeranged his drag link.... and the front sway bar into his break line. Got that all fixed on the trail and headed back to camp. So we didn't back to Portland until late
last night. I decided to crash and just drive back in the morning.
That's the trip.

Lmao at the unicorn. Mandy and i were cracking up at those pictures and the kids kept asking us what was so funny. The response "a guy with a unicorn head driving a landcruiser and eating chips" didn't exactly make sense when said aloud. We really need to get up there, it looks like sooooo much fun!

Just nature. The holes are bigger but one of the rocks got kicked out.

My mini vacation is being extended because a generous individual gave me a cold. If I knew who, I'd gladly return it.

Yes!! Very good times, great people and some interesting to say the least shenanigans ! Really cannot wait for next years event.
