Tom, are you saying that you have the no-slip?

If so, there are no thrust washers to deal with, at least mine didn't have any, nor did the instructions mention any.

Found this pdf on Pirate that looks like the instructions that came with my no-slip, hope it helps.

I went ahead and called richmond gear today. Told the guy the part number for the locker and the issue. He immediately said no thrust washers. Thanks for your help Dan. By the way Chris he also said no welding required
