No she isnt you...she doesnt need to leave a trail of puke in case she gets lost.

She saw this morning that of the 3300 that signed up only 2700 started, and 900 DNF'ed.... 1 of 3 quit this one on the course. That is higher than usual.
 
Wow, now that impressive Jenn! Nice work, my friends are always trying to talk me into a Tri but only a Sprint distance and I think I would die.

Great job Jenn, now I can tell people I know someone that has completed an Ironman. I'm thinking next year we should all try to be there to cheer her on, and of course have one hell of a party to celebrate her doing it again.

s*** yeah!! She would love that! Some of her friends came down this time and we had a good time.

Jenns mom was a bit distubed watching me sitting on the side of road discreetly mixing a giant captain in a water bottle....image what she will do if she meets you bums!

Might be nice if she did meet us.....Then she could have someone to blame your bad behavior on....We make great role models, it's just the roles we model aren't so great.
 
I'm thinking we can place a few people in inertubes (and a raft full of beer) to cheer her on for the swim. Imagine the lift she would get from seeing a zilch pole burning every few miles along the bike ride and run. This will take some planning, but there is drinking involved so I'm sure we can all rally around this cause.

Jenn you just keep up the training and we will take care of the rest. Maybe at the Jan. tech day we can get a comittee formed to get all the ground work started, maybe some "we're here with Jenn" t-shirts, and I'm sure Tony can come up with a great song for us to blast out of boomboxes along the event route.

I think you are like Wiley Coyote, Mark, a "SUUUPPPER GENIUS"
what a bitchin idea.
You nailed the Tube/raft/beer idea. That's flawless.

I like what you want to do with the ziltch poles, & The "We're with Jenn" t-shirt is also a must have.
I would like to see some sort of motorized couch we could use to cruise along side her with & offer words of encouragement, during the running part.

I think we could get one of those pull behind "kid carriers" & attach it to her bike, take turns riding in it & say things like; you're doing great--can we go a little faster--are we there yet--your butt looks great in those riding shorts--Can I have a drink from the water bottle--are we there yet--i think we were supposed to turn back there--. All the while sticking sticks in other riders spokes for fun & flipping people off for fun.

The only other thing we must do is put playing cards on the bike that hit the spokes & make that cool motorcycle noise as she rides.
 
I just read this idea to jenn....she is laughing her ass off....you know that loud "yelp" she does?..... She would love it.

So it seems we have her approval.

But we do need to expand this suport to her brother, if only so Tony can get to know him better, so we will need more info on him. Also it would help if he was to go to a few wheeling events to become some what acclimated to our group. It could very easily destroy his mental setup for the day if we are sprung on him at the last minute.

Also John is a big part of Jenn's life so we should include him in our support. I'm thinking that we need to make a change to the t-shirts. Keep the "We're here with Jenn" idea but add "and Ginger" under that but in smaller letters, much smaller letters. He is a part of her life, but she is the one doing all the work.

Don't tell the rest of her family about these plans as I'm sure it will add to John's enjoyment to see the suprise on their faces when they see the huge amount of support that is there.

Also Phil be sure to bring your badge, we may need it. I'm not say'n ....I'm just say'n.

We call it Ironmajambo.....or Ironjam....no, no, I got it....Itriajamman.....no, Anyway I think that's a great idea all the same
 
You definatly have jenns approval!

You dont have to worry about the shirts, Jenn and Jim design some sort of shirt each year for it.....unless we should design our own....it would be interesting to see what we could come up with....
