Also got the ButchSliders built painted and passenger side installed......

These are IMHO hands down the best design for sliders even if it is mine.........protects yet retains the styling and function of the factory running board......

those maxxis bighorn tires?

thats the first thing that popped into my head so i could be completely wrong...

Does look good tho! 35's i presume, and stock springs? any add a leaf or anything in em?

They are 35" Hanook Mud Terrains. I found a used set of 5 with the wheels. The springs are the stock 69 springs. The spring over really puts it up high. I expect it to settle a little after she's driven some.

I wish but it's not in the cards. Butch and I were gonna shake it down this weekend. He had stuff come up and I did too.

We're planning on going to Clayton sometime the weekend of Thanksgiving.

Damn....I think the bearded one has come up with something....maybe a little diamond tread plate on the top...

Lookin' good! Rattle can it now and you'll be good.

the rear springs on my 82 are completely flat thats why i asked. but i think someone may have tampered with em at some point in its life to tho.

Rick Delisle made sliders like that years ago.... similar, at least. Retained the same functionality, mounted up very similar, and beefy as hell. He even made them grippy on top, if I remember correctly, by putting sand, or some such, in the paint on top. I always liked them, and I like these, too!!

Where do ya reckon Lil Ricky got the idea?

Had mine on Yeller since before there was a LSLC......

Rumor has it that she is ready. :)

Heading to Elwood this weekend for a test run. That's fitting. :flamingo:

Probably run up the road to Telephone and visit my old man while I'm there. Merry Christmas

Hope you have a top for it....to chilly this weekend, I had to turn on a heater to work in the garage.:wrench::wrench::wrench:

Looking good

Got rained/snowed out last weekend. I could not stand it anymore so I drove up yesterday to see it. Drove it down the road in the rain with no top.

I've still got work to do but it looks and runs great. Thank you Butch and Josh for everything.
