I've always liked these from a functionally aesthetic standpoint actually, aka it's kinda cool, but in a nerdy sense :grinpimp: Is it just a convex mirror? Anyone ever install one on a US fzj80, and where would you get one?

Wouldnt it be on the wrong side of your van to be used as intended? You could probably find one on the intrabox and bolt it on if you just like the looks Id guess.

I asked the same question way back, it would be cool to install one of each fender.

What I would really like is one of these backup mirrors on the hatch.

I had a clip on backup mirror on my Isuzu Rodeo for few years, it was very helpful for parking in the city, especially with the a rear spare tire like that.

I am sure you can fender mirror from somewhere, I got my clip on backup mirror from Hong Kong.

That's true, for whatever reason that hadn't crossed my mind.

Talk to Mot I believe he can get them for you.

A friend has one of these on his JDM here in Spain, TBH I do not like the look of them and always dismissed them untill I sat in the drivers seat of his car. He has his mirror turned downwards so he can see his front wheel. Great from a wheeling point of view getting around tight places ect.

For me looks 0/10 funcionality 10/10

regards

Dave

Personally, I think they are cool. Handy for tight parking and off roading. I point mine down sometimes as well. Maybe try a wanted ad in the jdm section, I know a few guys took them off their HDJ81s.
