I am pretty sure you will find very little here other than ridicule.....While there might be one or two people that actually have something knowledgeable on this product. The other of us would not think twice about it.

Reminiscent of a storm trooper helmet, and no one likes those d-bags.

Don't sugar coat it guys-what do you really think?

I've been looking at the 100 series and noticed it and thought it was different from any other bumper I've seen on the 100. In fact it's the only other bumper I've seen on the 100. Reminds me a bit of the Land Rover LR2 bumpers that's all. But it's always nice to hear comments from others...I think.

We like to sugar coat things in the 100 section :) . In my opinion it's a waste of money. There is no gain from this add-on. You are better off going with a ARB/Slee/BIOR/TJM bumper. The link you provided looks purely cosmetic and offers no function nor performance upgrade. Do you currently own a 100 or just looking? I believe this is a copy of an OEM trim piece that covers the OEM winch that is offered in other markets (Australian, Middle East, ETC). Hope this helps.

I was just messin' with you. If you like it, that is all that matters.

On a positive note, your link did get me searching all over the place for a less-costly skid plate setup for the 100 Series.

Well, it's nice to know that I've inspired someone.

I currently don't own any Land Cruiser but I'm in the market for one. I really like the 80 series for several reason but I'm not going to be off roading with it so I was advised to look at the 100. I believe the 100 to be a little more reliable and better for hauling family and daily errands kinda stuff?

I welcome any input of course.....

Like I said, You will be very lucky to find info on it here without ridicule. Most follow the crowd like sheep here. While I think it is horrible, it is your truck and you should do what you want with it.

On this forum, there are very few that have info on random aftermarket items like this.

100 is more refined for family. Especially the 2000+ with VSC/ATRAC. There is a buying/selling thread stickies for this topic. The V8 is also a improvement over the 80.

Yes, someone did mention the V8 to me but not the VSC/ATRAC. And thanks for the stickies mention - I'll check em out.

It's going to be your 100, do what you want....

That particularly pic if probably a reproduction of an OEM product... an accessory cover that goes over the stock bumper. If I told you it was $800 plus shipping from Japan would you still want it? If so, I'll get you in touch with the right people.

any success?

None to report. In a perfect world for a non-rock crawler, the best we can hope for is the two TJM underbody skids plus a front skid by Slee/BIO/Asfir. I'm not even sure that the front would work with the TJM stuff. Plus with the diff drop in play, it leaves a few hanging variables.
