Hi all,
I'll be visiting Japan around Christmas and was wondering if anyone could refer me to any parts suppliers for 70 series Landcruisers.
Any help would be most appreciated!
Many thanks,
Soto

For New parts try the Kyouhan:
Google "toyota kyouhan" and add the location (e.g. Nagoya).
トヨタ 共販 名古屋
several locations should show up. You have to pay in cash when you order
an item, even a 50 yen part, then it can take anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks for them to get the part in depending on its availability.

They just look like offices, not retail stores, but they are pretty helpful. It is best if you know what part numbers you need and can speak some basic Japanese.

I never found a source for used parts other than through Yahoo Auctions, but that requires more time and an adress for them to ship to, or discussion in Japanese to negotiate pickup.

amayama.com is mail order, but good prices if you have the part numbers.
Megazip.net is mail order as well, but have Toyota diagrams and cost slightly more.

From what I see, Japan has huge aftermarket selections. good luck. FYI, they sell some really cool
Coleman stuff not available in N America either. So look through the camping sites as well. Take a really
big roller duffle! Or two.
