Is there a difference between the Japan Factory Installed Parts on the 200 Series 3UR-FE 5.7L V8 motor vs Toyota OEM parts dealers sell in the States and install? I thought there might be some variations and possibly the OEM parts could be of lesser quality than the original factory installed parts. Thanks

A few parts i have ordered in the states from dealers, such as starter and alternator, are made in the USA. Bothered me at first but i got over it. Considering the OEM japanese starters are a known "weak" spot and often need replacing before 150k I dont lose sleep over it.
Only issue I’ve run into are the “Sightline” windshield wiper blades. They are a different design than the OE ones. Thinner, less effective, don’t last as long. Incompatible with OE replacement blade inserts. Got very frustrated trying to fit OE blade inserts into a Sightline wiper. Sightline wipers have a Toyota emblem on them, Toyota wipers do not.
