So as we approach January we need to keep in mind the regularly scheduled meeting (2nd Sunday of every month).

As Christmas has just past, I am sure a few of you have a couple new items that you would like to get/have installed? Great opportunity for a HAMOM, post up or shoot me a PM with details.

I need to rebuild my front axle and do my brakes - yawn, I know. I intend to order the rebuild kit this week.
 
Greg, are we still planning on everybody getting together at youre farm or was that next month?
 
My rear brakes are getting no fluid.. But i intend to drive it to this months HAMOM, so if theres time, it'll be there..
i cant figure it out..
and cant wait to meet you guys
 
ahah yeah, its no big deal if we dont look at it, she still stops, just takes a little more distance... lol
 
Joe, did you get the knuckle parts kit? Do you still want to host the meeting this weekend?
 
Okay so we have decided to have the meeting at Champps @ Southpoint at 4PM this Sunday the 11th.

Driving Directions

I unfortunately will not be able to attend the meeting but will be sending some information with Allen (Fort Knox), VP of the Triangle area, to review with everyone.

Please if you haven't already, have your TLCA information there with you, we had a deadline of January 15th to have the Chapter information together and sent in.

anyone talk to joey and discount tire about a group discount yet.. I have been running on my spare (without a spare) for two long. I am ready to get a couple tires.

I haven't talked to him about it yet, sorry.

They do offer a discount to the FJCruiserforum members but its only $50 on 5 tires and must be ordered through the contact person. Details on this link.

If you want to drop my name with Joey, I'm sure he will only charge you an extra $50 just for knowing me and referring you to the store. Just mention Jerry, the bonehead with the Yellow FJC and Beige FJ-40...
 
he hunt's in the woods behind my house, i might have better luck taking him a hot cup of coffee.
 
I may be able to make it Sunday,not sure yet.
 
Not sure I will make it today or not, trying to finish up changing all the fluids in the 40 after it went swimming. I will see you all if I get it all finished.

Eric if you decide to go, call me before you leave and if I am finished maybe we can ride together.

Too bad you guys didn't make it. Right after all the wives and kids left, the Swedish Bikini Team came by to ask the club's opinion on their new bikinis...
