Jack extension

Are the jack extensions supposed to be under the driver's seat where the clips are? I have an '85 fj60 and cannot find my extensions. I realize this is a stupid question, but typically I am confused by the simple things in life. Thanks.

Yes thats where they should be.

Two of them. One with a hook on the end. The other a straight rod for extension.

Didn't even knew there were jack extensions, anyway I don't use that small jack, went and got a 60" Hi-lift.

Mine are in the tool roll inside the body panel next to the rear window washer bag. That's an HJ though.

My extensions are secured by an OEM looking naked bungie cord that runs through the clips you mention -- yours might have disappeared.
