I had a 2011 with around 30k miles on it, I think they worked out all the issues by 2011.2011
Still drives like new, just got back from a 1400 mile trip through the Florida keys last month.

Some if my repairs I count as PM service,
The cam tower leak was the only real issue that I had to address.
The drivers side boot on the steering rack had a small spot of moisture on it, was a very early sign of a leak. You could count the new rack as a very premature repair.
I opted to replace the water pump as PM (it had not failed), the front cover had a small seep so they resealed it when we did the water pump. The radiator was replaced with the water pump at 95k, again not failed. Just PM
I have OCD issues and dust my truck inside with an electric leaf blower. My kids do not eat in it and know anything they leave in it is deemed trash and they will never see again.
I have issues....
I have people I work with ride in my 1999 LX470 and they all thing from the inside the truck is only a year or two old.
2013 86,000 miles... new breaks and a battery that’s it... I usually think the first year runs usually have more issues. I.e. 1998 and 1999 land cruiser seems to have more issues than later ones, 2007 2008 fj Cruisers have more issues than later ones, 2008 2009 land cruiser have more issues than later ones... toyota usually tries to work out the bugs in the first two years. IMHO the 2013-2015 land cruisers are the sweet spots... I hear 2016 2017 with the 6 speed transmission can be spotty. I have an 05 lx470... no issues at all 110,000 miles but I’m on the maintenance at 90,000 miles I put 2,200 into the truck to keep it going 20,000 miles later still solid... just keeping an eye on the alternator and starter but everything else looks good

Lol yes meant to say 8spd as 6spd is what’s in the 15’s and older 200’s... I have an 18 on order some nice minor changes... I’m a fan of the bigger brakes2016+ has 8-speed tranny and actually is much better than previous after sw update. Very smooth. Also great updates with 16.
Suppose to fix the jerky shiftsI think he means what's included as part of this update? What did it fix?
