J100 Replacement Engine

I just picked up a 99 with a bad motor. My question is can the 2UZ FE engine from other Toyota/Lexus trucks and SUVs be sourced for the Land Cruiser or is thie Japanese built motor specific to my truck. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thx

Not to be that guy, but there are countless threads on the subject. you'll never get a full consensus about whether a UZJ 2UZ-FE motor is actually better. Here's some light reading on the topic:
