this is true, yet very handy. Those trash cans are crowding that beauty!
might be alittle breezy without a windshield.
nice rig. 1965?
doors are a bit newer true, no pop outs, i think nozzles may have been an add on so might, might not be newer, idk. if i could find horizonal vent for a good price I would grab it but until then, only one ive seen is 350 bucks. ive had to piece this truck together from the ground up. here is how i found her65 but with some later parts. Believe the doors are later. Same with the hood with washer nozzles. Amber parking lights. But the one I would be sure and change is the fresh air inlet on the passenger's side of the cowl. 65 had louvers at a forty-five degree angle.
here is how i found herView attachment 1550595
you would be my new best friend.nice progress indeed! I'll see if I have an angled louver.
you would be my new best friend.
I would love to purchase and I'll pay a fair price. Thank you for your help my new "best friend"I did find 1 on the shelf. pics in a day or two.
i wanna say its the same fore rhd or lhd. heater blower may stay in same place for rhd. i might be wrong thoughI wonder if they changed the design because it worked better or it allowed them to make one for both RHD and LHD. Only difference is which side the baffle was spot welded on the inside. I bought one years ago for my 68. It was painted close to the color my is. Like everything else parts that were easy to find have become rare. I think I found another one as a spare.

just noticed in your pics, do you need taillight lenses?
I have lenses now, thank you, the vent looks amazing. that will look sooo much better on my truck than new model one i have
i was wrong, i was thinking rhd might still have the heater on the same side. this is not the case. i understand what you meant now about baffle.I wonder if they changed the design because it worked better or it allowed them to make one for both RHD and LHD. FWIW I can say, with some certainty, that I've never seen an AU truck with the removable louvre. And I've looked because they look so cool.I wonder if they changed the design because it worked better or it allowed them to make one for both RHD and LHD.
