Yeah that's right. My 1970 had no heater louvres nor provisions. I later found out it was optional til 1971[?]. The northern half of Aus hardly requires a heater even in winter. The southern half can get mightily cold, especially in the Alps. Snow, ice, sleet etc. Often in Queensland and the Northern Territory [up north] a heater isn't even required for a roadworthy certificate [for annual registration].Interesting, I know of a 70 trayback local that came from Australia. It does't have a factory heater. The stamped louver came with the 72. Is it possible the factory heater wasn't available as a option before 72 in Australia? Thought there were regions in Australia that get snow?
