Hey Guys,
It's been a while since i've been on here, because franklly it's been a while since i've had a Cruiser :o - At any rate, i am buying a car and wanted to see if anyone knew of a decent Cruiser for under $2K in our area.

Let me know if you have any leads!

-Brian

If you find a deal on a cruiser w/ a bad engine, etc I have a motor and tranny, no transfer case, that I would let you have for a very affordable price. Tranny shifts fine, motor needs a leak in the oil cooler patched but other than that it only has 130k.

I think I am going to settle for an 86 4Runner - I've got no time to wait around. Price is right and is set up already with a lift, stinger, custom rear bumper etc.

1986 Toyota 4 runner lifted 4x4 mud

I would be little leary on the price consdiering he mentioned the head gasket going out. Good luck, I think I have the tranny sold so there really will not be much left soon anyways.

What he said. If it's a 22RE with a blown head gasket, no problem they're an easy fix. If it's the V6... RUN! Those are a PITA to fix from what I've seen if the head gasket has failed.

You could have my 62 but it will need either a tear down and dress the crank and replace connecting rod bearings prior to being of any good. 2k and it should start up well enough to get it on a trailer, pretty clean just a bad bearing on #6.
I really need to get off my ass and put it up in for sale.
