IT LIVES!!!! 82-SOA-60 is on the road!!!

I have first hand verification, I just went for a quick ride in 82-SOA-60's rig. He did a 350 TPI swap with 700R4 to 203/Toyota split case doubler. He also mounted his 35 MTR's on 10" black steelies. Me and FJKai will try to get him out on a shake down run on Sunday with pics to follow.

This is a big deal since this rig was supposed to make the McGrew run last July-August that TLCA hosts with Twitty and Bomke. I am happy to announce we all should be on the run this year.

Will keep you updated on what happens this weekend

Hey Brian,

I will be taking out my 60, I have had it out recently and can't quite figure out why I have it listed for sale! Just a little shake down run this weekend since FJKai just installed a 400 SBC with Marks Adapter, we want to work out any bugs there might be on both rigs. When we plan a bigger adventure I will let you know and see if you can head out too.

We had it wired correctly, things just needed to be tightened up and all connections made solid. Basically have someone else come in and double check things that you have been staring at for far too long! Go figure the TPI setup wants everything electrical to be perfect Well I'm going to battle with him on my carb vs. his TPI...I have a feeling I won't even come close to performance and mileage unless I pull a wire on his

Hehe Kief finally getting that SOA done I talked about when I bought it.
Basic list is, 4x4labs histeer (on way), SOA (no cut turn), 35x12.5 Traxus Muds (instock), and the basics for getting it done. So far workup:

Trust me, I'm not competing, my mileage sucks. And as far as tires your ATs will beat the crap out of my Traxus (put the box cutter down slowly : )

Yes its true I am on the road. Grining from ear to ear.

Still need to clean up a few loose ends. Glad to have this weight of my shoulders after 11 months!

Don't sell... well I think you are right Chris. 1. I don't want to sell and it looks like I won't have to either from a financial standpoint . 2. I have discovered some rust in the roof which will kill my asking price. The thing is rust free everywhere else but that roof is such a nightmare to take care of.

I plan on wheeling the piss out of it now!!!

I Finally had a chance to twist it up a bit.

Next I will be ditching my condenser since I will not be running AC and putting in a electric fan and a fan clutch to deal with my cooling issues.

...oh and I like my K car paint job!
