It hurts to say it, but I have put my 100 up for sale. Some of you know I had a stated goal of getting to at least 500k miles with my beloved Elsie, but I ended up needing to get a larger van for work, and have no place to keep both of them. I have put up a CraigsList ad here, but would really like to see her go to an enthusiast, who will love her like I do.
She needs valve cover gaskets, which I have but have not yet installed. Also, the front brakes need freshening, and I have new Brembo rotors and Hawk LTS pads, which match the rears I just did last month, or maybe January. She has relatively new Bilsteins all around, and OME 220# springs from Slee Off-Road, updating the 170# stock units. She has a new A/C compressor as of last year, and we updated to the modern refrigerant. It works great. She has recent tires, Michelin Defender LTX M/S in stock size all around. I'd say 80-90% tread left at least. My last two sets of these got 108k and 115k, so she'll be wearing these shoes for while unless you upgrade. She also has new plastic heater core T-fittings, since mine broke last summer.
She's been a faithful workhorse for me as I started and ran my business for several years, and now it is time for her to retire to a life of travel to exotic lands and breathtaking sights. Hopefully someone will take her crawling, and let her do the things she was made to do.
It's a sad day for me, but hopefully someone on here will give her a new home, and she'll happily live out the rest of her many days with her new owner.
