This is a super rare version of the Isuzu 4bd1 that was made to fit American SAE#3 transmissions. the 4BD1 is almost identical to the Cummins 4BT. Starts up very easily.

This is a natural aspirated version, no turbo. I'm including a couple pipes I collected to add a turbo. The pipe to go from turbo to intake and turbo to the exhaust. Their'd still be more parts needed of course and it depends on what turbo you end up with. I'm not sure what turbo came on the turbo version of this motor the 4BD1t

did u ever have compression checked? i understand that the 4bd1's which came with the sae3 bellhousings were industrial engines with a beefier bell. any pics of the bell ? and depth measurement of the bell to input?

I don't know much about clutches and flywheels so hopefully this image is helpful. I'm not sure what surface I should measure from. keep in mind it also has about a 3/4" SAE#3 to ??? adapter on there.
