So I’m hearing this ringing sound periodically that stops whenever I press the brake. The sound can continue for hours or it may not make the sound at all. The ABS and brake light come on and off during as it’s making the sound and go off whenever I press the brake. Those times when its not making a sound the ABS and brake light may still be on. Another thing and this may be the most important, the truck stops as it should throughout all of this. The brake fluid reservoir is full. I tried the test were you pump the brakes 40-50 times until the pedal goes to the floor and time how long it takes the motor to stop. It took less than 40 seconds as recommended. Any help or ideas with troubleshooting this issue would be greatly appreciated.
