New different clunk issue with VSC on only (1 Viewer)

I seem to have an odd variant of the typical clunk…curious if anyone has experienced and diagnosed this.

With the VSC off the clunk is non existent. With it on, I get a clunk, that feels like the front driver area, when I shift in and out of park.

When I am driving it is very distinct if I get on the gas or when I let off I get two very solid clunks, regardless of speed.

With VSC off, or with ATRAC off?

VSC. When I click off the VSC (so the light and little 4 wheel icon appear on the dash) I have the issue…clunks when I put it in drive, when I get on the gas, and when I let off but am still moving I get two clunks.

It sounds like a CV is loose then tight when under load or something.

So, you mean when you push the CDL button??? (which incidently turns off VSC)

If so, then it could be your rear drive shaft u-joints since it doesn't see as much action otherwise.
