I got the ninja SP151. It’s about the size of a Front Runner soft case. For baking, it uses about 1.5% battery from my ~1000wH EcoFlow Delta 2. So the cinnamon rolls + breakfast sandwich (not pictured) used about 20% of the capacity over 13 minutes. Same for the pizza. 13 minutes and ~20% consumption.

I need to camp with you.

Looks like the Delta 3 is out now? Higher capacity in about the same size.

Ecoflow is having some pretty good sales right now

These things are getting cheap. About the same price for the whole system as I paid for just my battery.

Wow, that Delta 3 is a great deal. This would be my choice if I needed something today.

Yeah, I’m pretty set on keeping the aux power out of the cabin but these are making that much harder to justify.

I'm pretty comfortable with LiFePO4 chemistry in the cabin. I don't like my current GZ lithium-ion in the desert in summertime.

I’m actually good with the chemistry and safety, for me it’s more the physical space as I sleep inside when traveling, and things are already pretty tight.

I hear you. Gear management is something I work on still years later.

Yep. All of this has led to the question “why don’t you just get a sprinter van” from my SO.

I feel that I did a good job hiding my disappointment.

Could one of these power stations effectively replace a built-in battery / charger / inverter? I am tempted to swap out my DIY system with one of these but not sure how I would provide the DC power distribution needed for my DC loads (fridge, radios, lighting, etc). Seems if all I needed to power was the fridge and USB stuff it would be easy.

That’s kinda the impetus of this thread. I kept my secondary battery around to power all of those “static” DC loads and just added a power station. If you already have a secondary battery running, I’d leave that alone and add a power station for big (cooking) AC loads and some bonus USB outlets.

If you're talking about a 2 battery solution, i.e. starter battery and a power station, yes. A general strategy would be to put everything on the starter battery. Preferrable behind a LVD switch. Higher draw accessory loads like fridge and cooking stuff on the power station.

Radios and LED lighting is so low draw that it's not an issue to have on the starter battery.

Let me know any time you want to check out the Ozarks! That is if you can stand the embarrassment of rolling with a 4Runner and old rust bucket.

Its one thing for your Trexboxx outfitted 4Runner to have a battery powered toaster oven but just the thought of a Ecoflow powered toaster oven in the back of a nicely patinaed 40 is a whole other thing. :)

What brand pizza is that, or is it homemade?

Looks pretty good for store bought if that's what it is.
