Is this factory winch bumper & bracket?? Or what have I got?
I’m attempting to figure out the application of this bumper I bought.
It is a part# 52111-60141. It was labeled by the dealer as a front bumper for an HJ60 1980 to 1987. It is definitely a 60 series bumper because it is stamped the same as a 60 bumper. But the holes are all different and doesn't fit up to the brackets on my US spec FJ60, nor my foreign spec HJ60. Also there isn’t an opening for the tow hook.
It’s not a back bumper either. Already checked that.
I started to think it might be a special bumper for a factory winch setup that goes on extended brackets. I got an extended bracket, part# 52140-90a00 (see pic below) labeled as a front brkt 80 to 87 HJ60. Anyone familiar with extended front bumper brackets? Does this look like one? It in no way lines up or fits my bumper. Am I missing another bracket component that goes between the bracket below and the bumper, or is either the bumper or bracket wrong?
