Is this a good deal

For a vehicle of that year, Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds could tell you somewhat accurately.

Probably nothing, but I don't recognize the controls on the roof in the extra pics. Does the addition of the screen change the rear air controls, or was it changed since 99?

it's not an lx, it's an l/c - big difference in book - probably not a great deal, i would say fair, but could find better imho

Too right! Sorry, I didn't catch that. It was late blah blah...

In that case, it still may be a good deal.....

If it is not a good deal - what would be a good and/or great deal for this vehicle? I want a vehicle similiar to this one and have an inside track with the GM of a Toyota Dealership. I want to tell him the year, miles, and price of the vehicle I would like (of course, in my price range).

for my 2 cents thats a great deal if you do some searching that is a great price i would also ask whats the catch because it sounds low also gas prices goin up the dealer may have had it for a while and lc may not be popular in that area i would go for it if i lived there

Just a POR...

My folks bought a brand new '04 model year closeout for about 14K below sticker. This vehicle is loaded out front nav, dvd, backup, camera, rear dvd with headphones, the 18"s (i know, i know), etc.

They could take it right now and trade it in and make roughly 8K off of it, at the dealership. Check NADA private party value for a similar truck.

Think about it, a 3 model year old vehicle with 30K miles for roughly 40K or a 1 model year old brand new vehicle with no miles for roughly 50K. ~10K is alot of money but if something happened and you had to sell it you could most certainly break even on it in the next year. That 02 won't resale again for 40K. Hit the dealerships, I bet some around you have some trucks they want off their lot.
