Anything to do with electricity just baffles me, so this might be a dumb question. My SurePower Isolator seems to be bad so swapping in a Blue Sea ACR. The SurePower had a wire connected to the E or Excite terminal and I can't track the wire as it goes into a loom. My new Blue Sea ACR has connections for Ground, "Start Isolation" and "LED." So wondering if I should connect the old wire connected to "Excite" to the "Start Isolation" or should I not use it?

These threads may be helpful for you. But I don’t think you need to connect it. Per the ACR diagram, it is a different wire. The excite is from your alternator loom and the start isolate is with your ignition.
