had a mini vacation in Alabama, just about a hr south of huntsville. always nice to get away and see family. spent a day at Smith lake for the holiday and every where i looked was some one with a pitbull. in addition lets just say large women in alabama have no problems walking out in the heat all sweaty in a 2 piece in public. dont get me wrong im a big guy and i can appreciate alot of differant woman......but when your back rolls look like 6 loafs of french bread stacked and the strings from the bikini actually dissappear....you might need to rething your beach attire.

It's a good thing you'll never need to start a thread titled, "I need a place to stay in Alabama: anybody got any suggestions?"

I bet you would get a lot of suggestions.

not all alabamians are obviously this way. it just struck me as odd that i saw as many pitbulls as i did. the ones i did see were all on a leather or heavy chain leash and had a spiked collar or another chain with a huge padlock on it. i guess my earlier post did portray a stereo type. and trust me there are plenty of smoking hot women in the state. and i was lucky to see the ones that were hot......not so lucky to see the other.

I used to live on Smith lake near Cullman. I never noticed pittbulls. Some areas can be pretty remote.

Were you around Jasper/Walker county? I can be pretty rough in that area.

i was in smith lake park, off of county road 385. im sure its a nice park when its not packed full. i tell you what that water there was pee warm no matter where we went. was much different than the lakes here. my father in law is in the sherrifs departmant there. maybe some time ill go out for a ride along with him. it cant possibly be as bad as some of the stories he has.

That wasn't a woman you saw. But in his defense, BHM's just trying to get out and enjoy the sun, just like everyone else.

It can get very crowded on the 4th at the park. You likely drove by where I lived.

There is a fireworks display that will have a very large number of people and likely the dregs of a couple of counties. The fireworks will bring in a crowd that takes a long time to clear out.

i was at the point mallard water park in decatur this past monday and i think every fat redneck in alabama was congregated there. i could only handle 30 minutes there before we left. youre absolutely right about women/girls having no business wearing 2 pieces and obviously oblivious to the fact. the stretch marks and tattoos were out in force.

dont see too many pits around here, none that i can recall, in fact.

rgsiii - where you living now, didnt realize you left cullman

Actually, I liked Cullman. Just the job vanished. Now I make about about 35% more, have 23 weeks a year off and there is a very interesting girlfriend (none found in Cullman). .:D:bounce::bounce2::cheers:

A large section of our football team in highschool was afraid to go on a away game to cullman.....that was a long time ago. I didn't recognize huntsville the last time we were there.
