Hey all,
I'm a newbie, currently on the prowl for a GX470! I've added non-nav to my deal-breaker list because of everything I've read about it on here. So, my question is: can I tell if a GX has nav or not based on the VIN? I've combed through several different trucks' options on the VIN Decoder - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/vindecoder.php?vin=JTJBT20X480170234, but I haven't yet been able to decipher if nav is listed...
Ex: Here's the interior specs from the VIN on one:

Interior
Birds eye maple wood trim-inc: dashboard, center console, door panels
60/40 split foldable & reclining 2nd row seat-inc: center armrest
Cut pile carpeting
Carpeted floor mats
Trip computer-inc: avg/current mpg, range, barometer, altimeter, elapsed time
Digital odometer w/(2) trip meters
Digital outside temp gauge
Digital clock
Tire pressure monitor system
Scheduled maintenance indicator light
Pwr windows-inc: 1-touch up/down, pinch protection, remote operation
Retained accessory pwr for windows
Remote fuel filler door release
HomeLink universal transceiver
Vehicle theft deterrent-inc: key card engine immobilizer, security system
Rear door & quarter window glass defogger w/auto-off timer
Rear seat audio system (RSA) w/remote & holder
FM diversity antenna on passenger side rear quarter glass
Electrochromic rearview mirror w/compass
Overhead console w/sunglass holder
Dual visors w/illuminated vanity mirrors, slide extensions
(8) assist grips
Lighting-inc: door courtesy, glove box, dome, front map, rear cargo
Front seatback pockets
Front door storage pockets
Chrome cargo area tie downs
First aid kit

Yes, if there's pics of a vehicle it's super easy to see if it's nav or not...but these things sell fast, & a lot of dealers list them with the VIN before ever posting pics.
Thanks for any help!!!

I've now realized the "Lexus Drivers" site is actually really useful when you're looking to buy! I'm sure a lot of y'all know this; but I wanted to document it for those future buyers out there. Hopefully, it doesn't take them as long to scrounge up the information.

It has two main features that I've been using:
1) As shown above, you can check a vehicle's specs, like navigation vs non-nav or if it has the sport package.
--- This is found under Resources (at the top), then Vehicle Specifications, then PORT- OR FACTORY-INSTALLED EQUIPMENT
2) I have also found it often times shows more Lexus service history than a CarFax does. I don't know if this is just because 15 years ago not all dealers were connected to the CarFax "system" or what...but I've pulled several CarFaxes in my search that showed very little service history, but the Lexus Drivers site showed a very different story! The service records also show much more detailed information, like what the owner was complaining about, or if they declined to fix things over & over (which is, of course, not generally indicative of a great previous owner); as well as recall work (like if it had the dash replaced!).
--- To see the service history, you will need to register for a Lexus login, then go to Manage Garage under at the top right where your profile is, then add the VIN, then once the car is "yours", go to Service by Lexus (at the top), then Service History.
