 i have come across a 1963-67 lancruiser FJ45L the only history i know about the car is that my father got it for free from a dealership he worked at a lonngggg time ago and that he didnt get a title to go with it. the only numbers or any identification i can find is the model number and the frame number... where the heck is the VIN??? i looked in the obvious spots i.e. the dashboard, engine, door panel to no luck:idea: .. if anyone knows any information about the trucks please let me know if it is worth the restoration. i know they are rare and i know the specs of the car i just dont know anything else! any help will do thanks!!

Yes, it is worth the hassel depending on how much you enjoy working on cruisers. Don't do it cause you think you will make a small mint.

I am guessing that what you are calling the "frame number" is the vehicles VIN. This should be located on the passenger side frame directly infront of the wheel.

As with everyone 45 that shows up...post a pic.

For your VIN reference: http://www.sor.com/sor/models.tam

And to find the exact year: http://www.sor.com/fj45frame.html
