Any need to wait or wax away!!!!!

I might wait a couple weeks, but I don't know for sure. Just make sure youkeep the wax off the textured plastic, if you get some on there, you can use peanut butter (really!) to get the white residue off. :)

I just had mine Waxed with nice heavy past wax. Taking off into the bush tomorrow... from the time they finish building them untill delivery your looking at 5 - 7 weeks (MFG date on mine is March 23ed and I got it April 28th)and the new paints don't need that long to setup.... I've had mine almost two weeks before sending it out to get waxed.;p

A friend of mine is a retired regional Toyota rep, and he waxed his the same way I do my 4Runner, with Griot's Best Of Show wax and the Porter Cable orbital sander with the attachments.

He did his like the 2nd day, and he said the paint is already cured before the rig is even slapped together on the frame in Japan.

Perfectly safe to do when you get it.

PS, the peanut butter does work too, I know many who have done it.

I waxed mine the first weekend I had it. With the bright blue, I'm going to wax it every six weeks and hope it doesn't fade too much. Time will tell. I'm sure once the brush/trees start to destroy the paint my waxing schedule will stop.
