I have Ironman deluxe bull bar bumper and Ironman 9500 winch that I'm getting ready to install. Does anyone have this set up? I would like to install the control box in the bumper instead of on top. Is this possible without modification. I would think Ironman would account for this, that's why I bought these as a set.

I also need tips for hooking up lights, guessing the fogs will be plug & play, but the led markers may be a different story. Any help will be much appreciated.

I got you Kevin. Not sure on the winch control box. To mount on the top of the bumper, we'd have to drill a couple small holes. I know that one of the guys on here fabbed up a mount on the inside of the grill. To me it would be easier to drill a couple holes, paint prep those for rust prevention and attach the controller. The lights are actually easy...the fogs especially. The LEDs are "interesting." As I recall, the black is the common ground (duh), the yellow is the blinker (splice into the turn signal on the side markers....my LX didn't have those) and the green splices into factory marker line. Happy to help out next weekend if you need.

Thanks @geanes, gonna have LCS do the install so that I know its done right, but am going to do my own electrical. I have read that the led's may blink fast when combined. As big and cluncky as the bull bar is, there has to be room to mount the control box inside vs on top. PS, Bumper somehow got lost between here and Dallas, was supposed to be delivered today, winch is in my garage.....still.

Yeah, they will fast blink if on their own circuit since an LED draws way less current. If we tap into the existing marker/turn signal, then you won't have the fast blink since you'll have your regular blinkers in tandem. If we bypass them, then you'll need the $9 relay off Amazon like mine and we'll need to plug it in under the steering column. We would need to remove the lower panel for easier access, but it's not bad. This is a MUCH better solution than inline resistors (the cheap AutoZone way of doing it). I've got the soldering iron and shrink tube so we could make it all professional-like :) Trust me on this....there is no where inside the bullbar to mount the control box. We either need to mount it on top or inside the engine bay. The winch takes up a LOT of space inside the bullbar. I'm going to mount my control box inside the engine bay on the passenger side between the airbox and the AHC pump (unique to my LX) and run an extended positive/negative to the battery.

I thought you were going to be getting some Dissent goodies. Can't wait to see the completed install though.
